Elite Armor Single Curved Trauma Plate IV ICW (SiC) 30x25 cm

Trauma plate from Elite Armour for placement on the front and back of bulletproof vests and fits the Elite Armor Impact vest. The trauma plate is made of Elite Armor's strongest material: silicon carbide (SiC) and this ceramic is much stronger than trauma plates in Alumina and Polyethylene.

The trauma plate is tested against, among other things, a 6 shot from an AK47.

The plate is Single Curve, which means that the plate comes as a unit for direct and easy insertion into the Impact vest. The trauma plate is curved which is advantageous in terms of fit and comfort as the plate will follow the curves of the body.

ICW (In conjunction) means that the trauma plate is to be used in conjunction with Soft Body Armor which are level IIIA bulletproof vests to be resistant to the specified level of protection.

The trauma plate has been tested against the following:

- Tested against 6 shots from 7.62*39 mm AK47 MSC with cartridges with a specific mass of 7.7 grams and an impact of 740 m/4 in accordance with NIJ std 0101.06 and 5.56 x 45 NATO international tests.
- 7.62 x 51 NATO, M80 (NIJ level IV 0101.06)
- 7.62 x 39 MSC, AK47 (NIJ level IV 0101.06)
