LifeStraw Universal is the first bottle adapter kit with a 2-stage filter. With 2 sizes of screw caps, you can turn your favorite water bottle into a powerful water filter.

Stage 1

: Hollow fiber membrane, removes 99.9999% bacteria (E. coli, etc.), removes 99.9% protozoa (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc.).

Step 2

: Activated carbon filter, reduces chlorine, reduces bad smell and taste, reduces organic chemical matter (pesticides, herbicides, VOC). LifeStraw Universal is chemical free, All materials are US FDA approved, meets US EPA drinking water standards, requires no electricity or batteries.

Lifetime:

4,000 liters for the hollow fiber membrane // 100 liters for the replaceable activated carbon filter. LifeStraw Universal Adapter Kit fits a wide range of popular water bottles in various shapes and sizes and the following have been tested for compatibility: Klean Kanteen, Nalgene, Camelbak, Hydroflask. This kit can fit additional bottles with compatible diameter, thread and a bottle height of at least 18.5cm. The bottle needs to be of minimum volume 0.75L.
