This unique sleeping bag has been specially developed for hiking, hunting, expeditions and wilderness survival in extreme conditions.
In addition to meeting the requirements of better warmth-to-weight ratio and compact storage size, the bag has been designed with freedom of movement in mind. By opening the zipper at the bottom, you can get your feet out. The foot end can be tied up so you can wear the bag as a coat. The Wilderness also has two parallel side zippers with a thermal protector in between. When both zips are closed, the interior space is smaller, but this also means that there is a smaller volume of air that has to be warmed by your body heat. This in turn also means extra insulation between the outer and inner layers, making the sleeping bag warmer.
Open the inner zippers for more space, and superb sleeping comfort.
Available with zippers on the right or left side.
SURVIVAL LINE
The sleeping bags included in this collection were designed to meet the specific requirements of the arm.
Great emphasis was placed on ensuring that the sleeping bags in this collection would provide maximum mobility in extreme conditions.
The sleeping bag has sleeves that are stored between the sleeping bag shell material and the insulation when not in use. These can also be used as pockets for smaller items such as a torch etc.
Velcro closure on the outside protective flaps, and zips on the inside prevent heat loss. Knitted mittens are included for extra warmth. These allow you to cook, write and otherwise use your hands and arms without having to get out of the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag can even be worn as an overcoat if you need to step out of the tent temporarily. Just unzip at the bottom. Unfold the sleeping bag and attach it to the fasteners on the back of the sleeping bag.
All sleeping bags in the Survival family (Wilderness, Survival One and Survival Down) have an adjustable collar to prevent heat loss at the shoulders. The collar also prevents the sleeping bag from sliding down when worn as a coat. When worn as a coat, it is important that the sleeping bag collar is properly tightened to allow the weight to be carried up and to prevent the sleeping bag from sliding down.
