If you're looking for a top-of-the-range sleeping bag, the XP Down 1000 is the one for you. It has all the advantages that a centrally located zipper has proven time and time again during countless expeditions and operations.
XP Down 1000 is filled with high quality 90/10 goose down with a guaranteed fill power of at least 600 CUIN.
H-chamber, differential cut and trapezoidal shaped foot section with cross grid are some more of the sleeping bag's proven quality advantages.
Another important feature is the pro-shaped head section with drawstring that closes the opening to leave only a minimal breathing hole.
The XP Down 1000 has a generously sized draft tube on the inside of the zipper which prevents heat loss through the zipper. In addition, it has a protective flap on the outside of the zipper which ensures that wind and moisture are kept out.
XP Down 1000 is supplied in a cotton storage bag and a compression bag.
Survival Line
The sleeping bags included in this collection were designed to meet the special requirements of the army.
Great emphasis was placed on ensuring that the sleeping bags in this collection would provide maximum mobility in extreme conditions.
The sleeping bag has sleeves that are stored between the sleeping bag shell material and the insulation when not in use. These can also be used as pockets for smaller items such as a torch etc.
Velcro closure on the outside protective flaps, and zips on the inside prevent heat loss. Knitted mittens are included for extra warmth. These allow you to cook, write and otherwise use your hands and arms without having to get out of the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag can even be worn as an overcoat if you need to step out of the tent temporarily. Unzip well at the bottom. Unfold the sleeping bag and attach it to the fasteners on the back of the sleeping bag.
All sleeping bags in the Survival family (Wilderness, Survival One and Survival Down) have an adjustable collar to prevent heat loss at the shoulders. The collar also prevents the sleeping bag from sliding down when worn as a coat. When worn as a coat, it is important that the sleeping bag collar is properly tightened to allow the weight to be carried up and to prevent the sleeping bag from sliding down.
