The unique G-LOFT® insulation, made from 100% polyester, combines the benefits of natural down with the insensitivity of synthetic fibers. This results in an insulation that is heat-resistant, lightweight and breathable, even in extremely wet and cold weather. In addition, the sleeping bag is covered with a Thermoflect® layer between the inner lining and the G-LOFT® filling. This material reflects the body's heat radiation and thus achieves a better heat retention.

The Carinthia Young Hero has a water-resistant Shelltex Ultra outer coating that protects against moisture, making it possible to camp outdoors without worrying about weather conditions. Inside, a soft and very light Shelltex Ultra lining adds to the comfort.

To prevent the creation of cold bridges, the sleeping bag is equipped with a shaped hood with an individually adjustable face opening. In addition, it is easy to use thanks to a two-way zipper with anti-snag tape and a zipper heat strip.

The product also has a range of features, such as differential cut, zippered cover flap, possibility to be combined with other sleeping bags, and double layer construction.
