The original Silva Field model has millimetre measurement units and map scales of 1:50 000 and 1:25 000, which are compatible with most maps. The compass ring is made of Dryflex™ rubber for a better and more comfortable grip, and the compass has a detachable cord with safety opening - a reliable companion in all situations.
