The Heat Company Emergency Kit

Emergency kit contains a body warmer and a rescue blanketThe body warmer
has a light adhesive side which makes them stay where you place them
.

The rescue blanket is placed airily against the person it is intended to protect. Prevents hypothermia (chilling) but can also protect against heat and other external influences.

An emergency kit should be included in every pack for colder weather or climates.

Use like this

Open the emergency kit and the pack for the rescue blanket.
Open the pack and remove the body warmer.
Place the rescue blanket in an airy position over the object to be protected.
The contents of the heater will react directly to the oxygen and it will begin to heat up.
Wait a few minutes, then remove the protective paper.
Attach the body warmer with the adhesive side to a garment or similar (not directly to the skin!) , and enjoy over 20 hours (can be split) of 40℃ heat!
After use, dispose of the heater in the normal household waste.

Activation

Open the packaging so that the heater is exposed to oxygen.
After 5-10 minutes the heater has reached its full temperature. If you haven't placed it where you want heat, do it now. Do you feel that the heat would diminish? Then make sure you expose it to oxygen, as the oxygen in the air is the catalyst that makes the heater hot.

Contents

Water, salt, vermiculite, activated carbon and iron powder.

Vermiculite is a soft clay mineral that contributes significantly to soil fertility through its ion-exchange capacity. They are similar to mica in shape and also form "flaky" crystals. Vermiculite is used industrially in cat litter and soil conditioners. It is an alternative to asbestos and can be used as noise and heat insulation as well as fire protection.
Activated carbon is a fine-grained carbon (of 90% carbon) with a large internal surface area and with a very porous structure. The pores bind together like sponges. If you imagine the inside figuratively, the size of 2 grams of activated carbon is about the size of a football pitch. Quality
The heaters meet strict quality criteria: ISO 9001 / ISO 9002 DisposalThe heaters
are completely non-toxic and are sorted after use as household waste

.

Usage

ACTIVATION: No charging or boiling required. Simply tear apart the packaging and remove the heater. It will then heat itself within a few minutes.
STOP & RECOVER: By placing the heater in an airtight container, the reaction that generates heat can be stopped. The heater can then be reactivated at a later time by re-exposing it to oxygen. Be aware that the effect of reactivation may be somewhat limited as it is difficult to store it in a completely oxygen-free environment. Even a tight plastic bag contains oxygen molecules. Official ReferencesThe police
and the armed forces in Austria have been using the heaters from The Heat Company for many years. The same goes for the German Ski Association (DSV), Swiss Ski and the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV).

Nödkit i liten förpackning!

Bra att ha med i bilen, i skogen, till sjöss m.m. för oväntade händelser.
