Tormek

The RB-180 is a turntable that allows you to easily rotate your machine 180° and then lock it in place. You can alternate between grinding/breaking or co-milling/counter-milling in just seconds.

Some tools are best sharpened when the stone rotates towards the edge, while others should have the stone rotating away from the edge. With Tormek's turntable, you can easily rotate your machine 180° and adapt the direction of rotation to your needs.

The turntable also makes it easy to switch between grinding and breaking. Always break with the leather browning wheel rotating from the edge, otherwise there is a risk of the tool cutting into the leather.

The turning plate consists of three different materials optimised to provide low friction and high stability. Great care has been taken to make the RB-180 as thin as possible so as not to raise the machine and alter the grinding position.

The turntable rests on rubber feet that absorb vibrations and keep it firmly on the table during grinding.

The turntable fits Tormek T-8, T-7, T-4, T-.3, model 2000 and 1200 plus SA-250 and N-1500.
