Trail Runner Free is an affordable headlamp that is lightweight and flexible for anyone who loves to run. The headlamp's features are optimized for running thanks to Free Technology so you don't have to worry about annoying cords. Trail Runner Free is equipped with a Hybrid battery pack and 3 AAA batteries, perfect for those who don't run daily but still value long burn time.

Trail Runner is a classic running light and this fifth generation Trail Runner features a new technology where the power cable is integrated into the headband, Free Technology which means a headlamp experience without annoying cords.

The hybrid battery case can be used with either Silva's hybrid rechargeable battery or AAA batteries. The case has grip-friendly surfaces and an integrated red safety light which adds extra visibility.

Running has been a focus in the development of these headlamps and all models in the Trail Runner Free series are equipped with Silva Intelligent Light, which means that the headlamp has dual light sources so you get both a strong illumination at sight as well as a soft and comfortable illumination where you put your feet down. This means a more comprehensive light pattern and less head movement, helping to reduce the risk of fatigue and tension headaches.

The headlamp has been optimised for optimal comfort thanks to its light weight, ergonomic fit and smooth adjustment options. The headband is soft while remaining firmly in place thanks to a thin silicone strand on the inside. The battery can be conveniently attached to the headband or kept warm in your pocket to maximise battery life using the included extension cable.
